A haven of thriving creativity, Shoreditch is renowned for its urban edge and artistic vibe. Its unique pop-up retail store, Shoreditch Boxpark, is built entirely from shipping containers. Packed with both new and established brands, galleries and restaurants, the quirky shopping and dining destination echoes the modern innovation of this inner city district.
Amongst the hustle and bustle of Boxpark is Simply Fish, an eatery committed to serving fresh, sustainably caught, British fish delivered from the Cornish coastline of Looe each and every morning.
Head chef and fish fanatic, Sherif Hassan has had 16 years of experience in the business. Alongside his devotion to the sustainability ethos, Hassan integrates a variety of international cuisine into his inventive recipes, aptly reflecting London’s multi-cultural scene.
What makes this fish eatery so special is the accessibility of the menu, which allows you to tailor your meal to suit your own personal tastes. There are endless possibilities on offer at Simply Fish. Think sizzling marinated chilli prawns coated in an exotic Thai coconut sauce. Savour a succulent piece of pan-fried sea bass, or the latest catch of Cornish mussels, moistened with a delectable white wine and aioli sauce. Other sauces include the distinctively Asian inspired soya, ginger and oyster number and the traditional creamy hollandaise sauce. The selection of side dishes and desserts complements the approach, offering an international fusion flavour to cater for the capital’s vibrant and eclectic customer base.
Simply Fish can also be found in Camden, and there are plans to open more outlets throughout London this year.
